Participate in Craft with Sue Wilson - Early 2015 Collection!

Sue Wilson is part of the Creative Expressions team and is well known within the crafting world as an experienced designer and demonstrator as well as a dedicated crafter.  Craftasmic have been lucky enough for Sue to visit us in 2014 for one of our Big Weekend events at which she demonstrated die cutting and card making techniques in her own unique style!

Sue has designed many dies and embossing folders under her name and we were pleased to introduce her first release of 2015 when we offically launched our new website last week. Here we are showcasing some of the beautiful projects Sue has created already with these dies.  See here just a few ways that you can use the dies from this fantastic range.  You can also view many of Sue's other products in our very special Sue Wilson Collection.

To find out more about Sue's products and inspirational projects we highly recommend you can follow Sue at her blog called Particraft - where she regularly posts her projects in an effort to continually inspire both seasoned and new card makers with her talents!

Firstly, let's look at the new Weaving Collection.

In Sue's own words, these are probably the least exciting looking dies, but when you see what they do, you'll be amazed and you'll see that they are a much needed crafting item.

There are two types: the Classic Weaving die and the Striped Weaving dies.

They can each be used alone or even better, together, as they have been in the card sample shown.

Next is the Noble Collection, where you'll find stunning square and rectangle dies.

This project showcases the square sets which have a lovely cut corner feature.

In this sample, Sue shows how they can be used to create layered frames inward without using the separate cutting edges which makes these dies very versatile.  The Classic Adorned Square set has a lovely debossed feature to it whereas the Ornate Pierced set which is used here has piercing on both the inside of the cut line and the outside aperture, giving you that extra detail on your projects that creates real show stoppers.

Showing off the new Expressions Collection are the Enjoy and Hello dies.

These are two contrasting projects with equally stunning results.  The Enjoy card is one of Sue's favourites, showing off the Enjoy die set and adding pretty decoration with many of her flower dies.

It is simple and elegant, and shows another way of incorporating a square die from Sue's Noble Collection, providing framing to the centrepiece of the card.

The Hello die set is displayed in this simply stunning and elegant card. You can create a totally different look with vertical words and this Hello die set is gorgeous with it's lattice background and separate cutting edge.

This also shows one of the new dies within the Finishing Touches Collection - Trailing Ivy, which is positioned to be coming out of the lattice work and creates a lovely surround.

The final card to include within this Project Page shows off dies from Sue's new

Greek Island Collection - and we couldn't resist sharing this stunning creation with you!

Sue has used the Background die set as the main feature of this card.

With a lovely debossed ivy theme to this background, it is so easy to make a quick and beautiful card with it.

She has then used the Corner, Border and Tag set from the same collection which match beautifully, also with some stunning ivy motifs.

Below is a list of all the main dies used by Sue to make these projects.
